Serotonin syndrome是可能危及生命的藥物不良反應..

最主要是因為中樞神經serotonin receptor被過度刺激..

最典型的異常為:

- 意識狀況改變
- 自主神經過度興奮
- 神經肌肉異常

有圖有真相..就如圖中所示..常見的症狀包括:

- diaphrosis
- tachycardia
- hypertension
- clonus, tremor, hyperreflexia
- increased bowel sound, diarrhea
- mydriasis

常見造成serotonin syndrome的藥物包括:

- SSRIs, MAOIs (這不用說了吧..)
- antidepressants: trazodone, nefazodone, buspirone, venlafaxine
- sodium valproate
- nacrotics: tramadol, mepiridine, fentanyl
- antiemetics: 5-HT3 angonists, metoclopramide
- antimigraine agents: sumatriptan
- sibutramine
- antibiotics: linezolid, ritonavir
- lithium

臨床上這樣的藥物組合確實是可能發生且並不罕見..或許要更提神去注意這些不良反應的發生..
